Soma Pharma is a company formed in 1986. DR. Hariprasad Somani is the founder of this unit. He ris an Indian businessman from Latur, Maharashtra. He is a pharmacist by profession with a graduate degree in Pharmacy from Shivaji University and Post graduate degree in Pharmacy from Mysore University. Also he did his Ph.D. from Punjab. With a humble beginning in 1986, guided by his astute vision and relentless pursuit to better human lives and contribute in nation building, he built the company that is trusted by millions across India.

Soma Pharma began its journey in 1986 with a single product – Nirmal Kala Dantmanjan, in the Ayurvedic Medicine, Toothe Powder category with a mere investment of Rs. 5,000/- Today Soma Pharma is a multi–product company owning brands like Nirmal and Fresho The company has diversified its operations in area of fabric care, household cleanliness and personal care. Soma Pharma owes its genesis to an unflinching faith in the power of innovation.
